When staying at a hotel, many things must be considered, and many of them are never included into the guidelines that are used for hotel star classification. As someone that has worked within a hotel, I’m privy to the sort of code that is used to classify them and how this code not always is according to buyer service. My experience is in a 4-stars hotel in Barcelona and I discovered plenty of the things that occur within a hotel and that usually you should not notice when you arrive there as a traveller. But you do, many things don’t work correctly within, specifically when the direction isn’t ready to provide with support and instead it directs the installations by putting force on everyone to get the work accomplished. This is something the hotel star classification system can’t work out.

I myself like a hotel where staff isn’t stressed and can help me when I need it, than a luxury cell in which I could be confined with no attention in any way. Something that already the general public does is to have a look at reviews. There you will see what folk thinks about the hotel, how was the experience, how were they handled.
There is nothing like the buyers to learn how you are going to be treated as a consumer. A good page that I rely in is VirtualTourist. This web-page offers reviews of hostels in all locations worldwide in a straightforward to navigate software, including an awfully helpful interactive map. Each user is permitted to post comments on hostels and they appear ordered depending on the amount of comments a hotel has received. This is potentially a neater way to classify them than the conventional hotel star classification system and anyway, do not forget the order in which hostels appear in the list is not for a qualification, as the system doesn’t permit to use any punctuation strategy. The number 1 will always be the hotel that has more number of reviews, but naturally it might be that all them are bad. Simply checking the 1st 10 hostels you’ll have a broad idea of what you should expect and potentially you may know better where to spend your nights at. Of course, simply remember the hotel star classification is frequently not the most effective way to choose the standard of an hotel, unless you’re looking to have a king size suite with jacuzzi, which hasn’t ever been my case.
